Lindsy Edmundson is the founder of Bloom Educational Advocacy and Consulting, where she is dedicated to helping families confidently navigate the special education process. As both a special education professional and the mother of three children who have each received special education services, Lindsy understands the journey from both sides of the table. Her personal experiences fuel her passion for ensuring every child receives the individualized support they need to flourish.

Lindsy has more than 15 years of experience in education, she holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and maintains both a Colorado Professional Teaching License and a Colorado Special Service Provider License. Throughout her career, she has served in classroom, leadership, and district-level roles, supporting students with a wide range of disabilities and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create meaningful educational outcomes. 

Over the years, Lindsy has witnessed firsthand how overwhelming and confusing the special education system can feel for parents. She has also seen the incredible difference that knowledgeable advocacy, collaboration, and informed decision-making can make in a child’s educational experience. Her background provides families with an insider’s understanding of school systems, helping them navigate meetings, evaluations, eligibility decisions, and educational planning with confidence.
